Sylvia Low has 15 years with Occidental and joined 1PointFive in 2023 as Director leading the effort in of business development in Asia. Prior to that she helped set up and lead the team in Occidental Oil Asia in Singapore. Her main role within Oxy is manage a team in marketing crude oil produced by Oxy and physical and paper trading activity supporting the business. She joined the company in 2009 in Houston, Texas where she worked to set up the marketing arm for Oxy to be run out from Singapore before returning to work in it in 2011. Prior to that, she has more than 10 years of experience in a variety of roles in crude oil trading including risk, economic analysis for energy commodities in various oil trading companies including Koch, Totsa and Sempra. Sylvia has a degree in Bachelor in Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.
