Singapore Pavilion & ASAFA Panel at COP30: Clearing the Skies — Financing and Scaling Sustainable Aviation Fuels in Asia
Singapore’s COP Pavilion at COP30 will serve as a hub for showcasing the city-state’s ambition to lead decarbonisation across sectors, signal its strength as a green finance and sustainability platform, and catalyse multi-stakeholder collaboration on climate solutions.
Within the Pavilion, the Asia Sustainable Aviation Fuel Association (ASAFA) will host a flagship panel titled “Clearing the Skies: Financing and Scaling Sustainable Aviation Fuels in Asia.” This session underscores Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) as a cornerstone for decarbonising aviation — while acknowledging the scale, complexity, and collective effort needed to deliver it.
The panel will feature the Asia-Pacific SAF Outlook 2025, a data-driven report co-developed by ASAFA and Argus Media, providing fresh insights on regional demand, feedstock potential, technology readiness, and investment flows. Senior leaders from government, industry, finance, and climate policy will engage in a forward-looking dialogue on how policy alignment, technological innovation, and capital mobilisation can accelerate SAF deployment and build cross-regional cooperation.
By anchoring this critical discussion within Singapore’s Pavilion, ASAFA reinforces Singapore’s role as a strategic convenor and marketplace for sustainable aviation, green finance, and climate innovation in Asia.
