Malaysia sits at the centre of one of the most consequential SAF supply questions in Asia: what role will its vast natural resources, used cooking oil, and palm waste feedstock base play in fuelling the region's aviation decarbonisation? The Innovation & Policy Summit arrives in Kuala Lumpur on 7–9 October 2026 to bring that question into focus, convening airlines, fuel producers, refiners, investors, and policymakers to accelerate the transition from feedstock potential to commercial-scale SAF production.
Against a backdrop of CORSIA obligations, growing airline offtake commitments, and Malaysia's emerging bioenergy policy framework, IPS Malaysia 2026 will examine the full value chain: feedstock aggregation and sustainability certification, refinery synergies and dedicated SAF pathways, blending infrastructure, and the financing structures needed to bring projects to bankability.
