The Tapioca Ethanol Association was established with the primary goal of serving as a facilitator in promoting cassava as a crucial energy crop for the nation. This initiative aims to increase income levels for farmers, add value to agricultural products, and foster cohesion among cassava ethanol producers to enhance competitiveness in the market. Additionally, the association strives to collaborate with the government to align renewable energy policies and serve as a coordination center for ethanol producers and various sectors. This cooperative approach strengthens Thailand's renewable energy sources, positioning the country to become a regional renewable energy hub in the future. Currently, the association comprises nine member companies engaged in the production and sale of ethanol from cassava. These companies include Ubon Bio Ethanol Public Company Limited (UBE), Sapthip Company Limited, Taiping Ethanol Company Limited, Thai Ethanol Power Public Company Limited, P.S.C. Starch Products Public Company Limited, E85 Company Limited, Upventure Company Limited, Fah Kwanthip Company Limited, and Impress Ethanol Co., Ltd.
