Tokyo/Singapore, 1 October 2025 – The Asian Sustainable Aviation Fuel Association (ASAFA) is pleased to announce the signing

of a Partnership Agreement with ACT FOR SKY.

This partnership aims to strengthen the connection between Japan and the broader Asia-Pacific region, contributing to the decarbonization of the aviation industry throughout Asia, the Pacific and the Middle East, including Japan.

Partnership Initiatives:

- ACT FOR SKY will support ASAFA’s activities in Japan by facilitating introductions to public and private stakeholders related to SAF.

- ASAFA will act as a bridge between stakeholders in the SAF market across Asia, assisting ACT FOR SKY members in expanding their presence in Asian markets.

- Both organizations will promote SAF awareness in society by considering joint conferences, seminars, and public relations activities, while encouraging information exchange among their members.

- Together, they will work on developing and spreading initiatives to enhance societal recognition and understanding of SAF.

About ACT FOR SKY (AFS)

AFS is a Japan-based, industry-led initiative created to promote the commercial production, distribution, and utilization of SAF. It brings together 47 companies and organizations, from airlines, fuel producers, technology providers, engineering firms, and local governments to establish a domestic SAF supply chain and advance the decarbonization of Japan’s aviation sector. AFS is co-led by ANA, JAL, JGC Holdings Corporation, and Revo International.
