

Singapore, 27 January 2024 – ASAFA is proud to welcome LanzaJet, a global leader in sustainable fuels, as our newest member. This strategic addition highlights LanzaJet’s dedication to advancing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production and scaling the global SAF supply chain to support the aviation industry’s net-zero goals.
LanzaJet has been at the forefront of SAF innovation, pioneering alcohol-to-jet (ATJ) technology to produce low-carbon fuels from ethanol. With its first commercial SAF plant, Freedom Pines Fuels in 2024, LanzaJet is driving the transition towards sustainable aviation by expanding SAF production capacity and working with partners across the value chain to accelerate adoption.
By joining ASAFA, LanzaJet brings deep expertise in SAF production, technology commercialization, and global deployment strategies. This partnership marks a significant step toward strengthening Asia’s SAF ecosystem, fostering cross-industry collaboration, and addressing key challenges such as feedstock availability, policy alignment, and infrastructure readiness.
